THE PARTNERSHIP FOR EDUCATIONAL REVITALIZATION IN THE AMERICAS.
Is an educational program of the Inter American Dialogue, jointly managed with CINDE and a broad network of partner organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Better known as PREAL, this hemispheric partnership seeks to promote informed dialogues on policy options, identify and disseminate best education practices and monitor progress toward improving education policy. Includes actors from civil society, governments, universities, political leaders, the business community, international organizations and churches.
Since 1995, and up to 2012, it has played an important role in raising the profile of specific policy issues and reaching leaders not otherwise involved in the debate on education, involved civil society organizations in education reforms, identify and shared policy options and enriched the thinking of decision makers and opinion leaders with ideas on education policy and reform.
