Mission
Contribute to the improvement of education quality and equity by promoting informed debate on education policy and reform; the identification and dissemination of best practices and the monitoring of educational progress in the countries of the region.
Objectives
1. Involve society as a whole and its actors in improving education policy
2. Monitor progress Howard improving education, and
3. Provide information and expertise about policy and reform issues to opinion leaders and public and private authorities
Institutional Sponsorship
PREAL is a joint program of the Inter-American Dialogue in Washington, D.C., and the Corporation for Development Research (CINDE) in Santiago, Chile. It is co-directed by Jeffrey M. Puryear at the Inter-American Dialogue and Marcela Gajardo at CINDE.
